Haven't had a lot of sewing time so far this summer. Graduation  was June 26, after which we participated in Project Graduation, a yearly event at a local college where the graduates get to eat and play all night long. After a very few short hours of sleep, we spent Sunday moving my DD and family to a new apartment the next town over. The graduate went off to spend the Summer working at the Boy Scout Camp as the director of archery and BB gun.
Since the weather has been quite warm so far we have spent time at the lake. Very nice. The rest of my time has been taken up with work, college for DS, canning and graduation party planning.

Wild black raspberry jam.

First time splashing in the lake.

Working on the sashing.

Upcoming quilting goals for next two weeks are to machine quilt some of Trail to Eagle and finish the sashing  for the basket quilt. But if its 90 degrees out I'm going swimming!
Did you see Judy's new button on my sidebar? If things are pretty quiet on my blog go see Judy at Patchwork Times she is always busy sewing, gardening, cooking, canning, EQing. She makes my day!
